Sr Reliability Engineer at John Deere in Cairo, IL
Your Responsibilities This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change. As a Senior Reliability Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) located in Urbandale, IA you will be the subject matter expert on reliability for ISG products; innovate new methods to drive reliability into our product development and teach the reliability process to less-senior employees. In addition, you will Develop reliability requirements and work with PV&V to develop validation test plans Perform statistical analysis of moderately complex data from multiple data sources (e.g. warranty, ELIPS, telematics etc) to identify reliability issues Investigate reliability issues to understand root cause and drive corrective actions. Facilitate System FMEA's and identify and document activities needed to mitigate high risks Meet with global supply base to help them understand our reliability and test requirements, e.g., sample size, duration, and failure analysis What Skills You Need 4 or more years experience in Reliability/PV&V/Systems engineering 1 or more years experience relating to reliability/manufacturing/design/diagnostics of electrical systems. 1 or more years Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, e.g., statistical analysis, machine learning and data mining. 1 or more years experience using standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis, Statistics What Makes You Stand Out ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer Experience with software development Experience with Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETDP) Six Sigma Green Belt certification Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent) Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent) Degree in a Math discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
DevOps & Site ReliabilityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
